T-minus 8 Days till the campaign closes! If you know, anyone else who might be interested in our campaign, now is the time to send them a message. Perhaps something like:
"Hey! An awesome game studio with some really cool developers are working on a stellar project that is closing its friends and family round super soon! So you should join me and invest in the future of Azure Ravens Entertainment."
Okay, I might be a bit biased... So maybe just let them know to take a look before we are closed.
Enough promoting. I know why you are really here; you want to learn about the wide world of fishing in Ravenwood. Well, let me tell you, it sure is fantastic, you can fish up over 20+ types of fish, and they change depending on location, season, weather and time of day! On top of the fish you might recognize, given you are an avid fish enthusiast, we also have some astounding fish local only to this region in the Ravenwood Forest.
Wanna sneak peek at some concept art? Of course you do! So let's look at some of the more mundane fish native to this region.
Now, don't they look fin-tastic? Absolutely, so now we need a unique fishing system. So we started with our first prototype; like many others, we were inspired by Stardew Valley. We incorporated line strength into it, and tada, our first fishing prototype was complete. Let's check it out!
I know, I know, pretty lackluster and slow. We are not happy with it, so why would we show you? Well, our excellent investors and supporters, you are along for the ride! To be a part of the creation of a fun and fantastical world, you have to see the steps and iterations the game will take to become extraordinary.
So what's next? We don't like the mini-game tied to fishing; we want something new, fun, and fresh. That's the whole point of Ravenwood. Well, it's back to the drawing board; we are actively working on some interesting new ideas. We plan to unveil the reworked fishing game at the end of Q1 (so the end of March!), and we want your feedback!
So keep an eye on your email because, at the end of March, we will send out a sign-up link for anyone interested in testing out some fishing mini-game prototypes and providing feedback. Our game has 10+ lifestyles to live, and each must be excellent. With your help and feedback, I am sure we can make that happen!
Tomorrow's post will talk about the holidays of Ravenwood and what it looks like as seasons change and new people arrive in our wonderful town!
